This inclusive and gently paced programme is designed to work directly with the physiological elements of stress and trauma by using yoga forms, stabilising breath techniques and mindfulness to gently engage in the feeling sensations in your body over an 8 week period. Working with evidence-based, body-centred interventions, we metabolise stress in the body and reduce symptoms by helping to regulate the autonomic nervous system. The body keeps the score but the body also is the site for healing.
Over time a more attuned relationship with your body is possible as you practise making supportive choices for yourself based on this increased awareness of how your body is responding to any given situation.
YOU WILL:
-
Learn about nervous system regulation
-
Learn tools to build capacity for feeling
-
Build beneficial attitudes towards yourself and your body
-
Experience a supportive space where you can come just as you are
-
Learn practices to take into your life
WHAT TO EXPECT:
-
Everyone is in choice to participate in the way that's best for them.
-
All movement is an invitation to reclaim a cohesive felt-sense of self.
